I started my artistic voyage as a photographer; seeing life through the lens. Wishing to capture life on film. As I printed my images, I saw forms that would make interesting abstracts so I turned to paint to reflect the forms, colors, and impressions that I saw and felt. Today, I look at the color in an image and my mind mixes it up with a myopic view that I translate onto paper.
Color gives me an emotional feeling that I correlate to myself, as it does so many others. Painting feeds and soothes my soul, which then inspires my imagination to put on paper a different version of the world as I see it. It is my hope that my collection of watercolor impart happy feelings to the viewer, feeding and soothing you as it does me!
